About the Artist

Betty Bradley, FSPA, a native of Spokane, WA and a Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration, has taught in elementary and high schools, been a Religious Education Director for preschool through adults,  a Pastoral Associate, a Pre-Novitiate Formation Director, co-founder of Mt. Angel Fine Art Gallery, the Director of Clare Center in Spokane, WA and is presently a full-time Artist in Spokane.

In 1990, she began pursuing watercolor studies.  This learning continued and was strengthened as she took workshops from national and international Artists.  She wanted to know as much as possible about watercolor in order to teach it.  She taught watercolor for 15 years.

Her art hangs in private and public collections in many states in the U.S.  and in the Gallery of Thum in Spokane, Washington.

Betty received her Bachelor's Degree from Viterbo College in LaCrosse, WI and her Master's Degree from Seattle University, Seattle, WA.

As a young woman, she dreamed of being surrounded by original art.  Now, she is.  Sharing it is a joy!
